Tens agreement adds to growing portfolio
Hong Kong, 13 December 2004 - Two Up Front continues to set the pace in Asian rugby publishing by winning the contract to produce the official souvenir programme for the prestigious 2005 Hong Kong Tens tournament. The company will also be handling public relations on behalf of the event, to be staged at Hong Kong Football Club from March 16-17, 2005.
The news comes just days after Two Up Front - Asia’s premier sports PR and publishing company - secured an agreement to produce the souvenir programme for the 2005 Rugby World Cup Sevens. It means Two Up Front will be writing, designing and printing the official publications for the two most important events in Hong Kong’s week-long “Festival of Rugby” next March.
“The Hong Kong Tens is a truly world class event and a delicious appetiser to the Rugby World Cup Sevens,” commented Megan Ross, communications manager for the Hong Kong Tens. “Last year’s Tens featured former All Blacks, current Super 12 players and a fair portion of English Premiership stars. The action is fast and furious and the atmosphere is fun - and we are certain the souvenir programme will add to the enjoyment for players and fans alike.”
Simon Wait, Two Up Front’s project director, commented: “The Hong Kong Tens enjoys a reputation as the best ten-a-side rugby tournament in the world and we are confident of producing a programme worthy of the occasion.”
By producing the official programmes for both the Rugby World Cup Sevens and the Hong Kong Tens, Two Up Front will be underlining its status as Asia’s premier rugby publisher. The company already produces Rugby Talk, the official magazine of the Hong Kong Rugby Football Union, and it also published the souvenir programme for the 2004 Asian Rugby Championships.
Two Up Front is involved in PR and publishing across a broad range of sports including rugby, golf, tennis and motorcycling.
