PR deal makes for Royal command performance

Bangkok, 15 November 2005 - Two Up Front is once again top of the leaderboard after landing a contract to handle PR for a new tournament the whole of golf is talking about.

One of Asia’s fastest-growing sports PR companies, Two Up Front will be sending handling global public relations for the Royal Trophy, a Ryder Cup-style team tournament between Europe and Asia that will be played at Bangkok’s Amata Spring Country Club from January 7-8, 2006.

The news comes at a time when Two Up Front is already handling PR and publications for the 2005 UBS Hong Kong Open, to be held December 1-4 at Hong Kong Golf Club.

“We’re delighted to be handling PR for the Royal Trophy,” said editorial director Niall Donnelly. “We have already worked on some major events in Hong Kong and looked after PR for the China Open tennis tournament in Beijing, so our involvement with this new event in Bangkok is in line with our regional expansion plans.

Two Up Front has been contracted by Royal Trophy promoter Entertainment Group Limited to issue press releases concerning player and team announcements and event-related travel and business features in the build-up to the tournament.
