TWO UP FRONT SCORES A PERFECT TENS Hong Kong, March 28, 2008 - Two Up Front has scored another impressive victory by once again helping make the world’s premier ten-a-side rugby festival, the GFI HKFC Tens, an outstanding success. The sports events specialists handled worldwide PR and produced the official souvenir programme for the tournament, held at Hong Kong Football Club from March 26-27. It was the fourth year running in which Two Up Front had worked on the popular event, which has become a highlight of the Asian rugby calendar since it was first staged in 1986. “We were delighted to be involved once more and the Tens was again a major success,” commented Two Up Front project director Simon Wait. “The tournament was extremely well attended and we received a lot of positive feedback about the souvenir programme.” The 68-page programme featured an attractive design, superb action photographs and plenty of informative and humorous content to keep fans entertained throughout the two-day tournament. Fans flocked to the Hong Kong Football Club to see stars such as Samoan Rugby World Cup legend Brian Lima and New Zealand sevens ace Israel Dagg in action. Fortis New Zealand Metro won the Tens for the third year in a row with a 38-0 victory over the UK’s top touring team, the Penguins. FOR MORE INFORMATION CONTACT: info@tuf.com.hk |
