TENS ORGANISERS TURN TO TWO UP FRONT ONCE MORE Hong Kong, December 18,2007 - Hong Kong sports PR and publishing company Two Up Front is set to play a key role in the world’s premier ten-a-side rugby festival, the GFI HKFC Tens, for the fourth year in a row. After helping make the 2007 Tens a phenomenal success, Two Up Front will once again produce the official souvenir programme and handle worldwide PR when the tournament is staged at Hong Kong Football Club on March 26-27. "We're delighted to have reached an agreement with the Tens organising committee to be involved again," said Two Up Front editorial director Niall Donnelly. "The tournament is growing, both from a sporting and commercial standpoint, and is enjoying a much higher profile in Hong Kong, regionally and around the globe. "We have played a significant role in helping this come about and we’re very happy to remain part of this continuing success story." Sixteen teams will take part in the 2008 Tens, including defending champions New Zealand Metro and the team they beat in last year’s final, top UK touring club Penguin International. Players who have featured at the Tens in recent years include former All Blacks Jonah Lomu and Scott Robertson, Rugby World Cup-winning Wallabies Joe Roff and Toutai Kefu and ex-Wales and Lions idol Neil Jenkins. The tournament was first held in 1986 to celebrate the Hong Kong Football Club’s centenary and has become a key part of Hong Kong’s "Festival of Rugby Week" that also includes the Hong Kong Sevens and the Hong Kong Women’s Sevens. Two Up Front also handles PR for two of Asia’s biggest golf tournaments, the US$2.25 million UBS Hong Kong Open and €2 million (US$2.9 million) Ballantine's Championship in Korea. The company's publishing arm produces the acclaimed official souvenir programme for the Hong Kong Sevens plus various other rugby and golf publications.
