EQUESTRIAN GUIDES ADD TO PUBLISHING PORTFOLIO Hong Kong, July 27, 2007 - Organisers of the 2008 Beijing Olympic equestrian events - to be held in Hong Kong - have turned to Two Up Front for expert help with publishing. Two Up Front - Asia's premier sports publications specialists - have produced the Spectator Guide and Event Guide for the "Good Luck Beijing - HKSAR 10th Anniversary Cup", the dress rehearsal competition being staged in August 2007. The Spectator Guide, designed to educate and inform the public in Hong Kong and beyond about the unique appeal of equestrian eventing, is available in two versions, English and traditional Chinese. The English-only Event Guide tells competitors and officials - many of them from overseas - everything they need to know about the competition, from rules and regulations to accommodation, catering and transport arrangements. Both publications were commissioned by the Beijing Olympic equestrian events body EqCo - formally called the Equestrian Events (Hong Kong) of the Games of the XXIX Olympiad Company Limited. "Given the nature and complexity of eventing and the tight deadlines we faced, producing the Spectator Guide and Event Guide presented a unique task," said Two Up Front project director Simon Wait. "But, thanks to the efforts of our team of sports specialists, translators and designers, not to mention the timely and professional feedback we received from EqCo, we rose to the challenge." The Good Luck Beijing - HKSAR 10th Anniversary Cup, a three-day eventing competition involving dressage, cross-country and jumping, will be held from August 11-13 at Hong Kong Olympic equestrian venues at Sha Tin and Beas River. The Spectator Guide and Event Guide are the latest additions to Two Up Front's impressive sports publications portfolio that includes: the official programmes for the Hong Kong Sevens and HKFC Tens rugby tournaments; Rugby Talk magazine; and the official programme and in-tournament newsletter for the UBS Hong Kong Open golf showpiece. In addition, the company handles worldwide PR for the GFI HKFC Tens, the UBS Hong Kong Open and the new Ballantine's Championship golf tournament in Korea.
