TUF SERVES UP ANOTHER WINNER Hong Kong, January 26, 2006 - Two Up Front has aced its PR rivals once more by securing the hotly-contested contract for the 2006 China Open tennis tournament. The Hong Kong-based company has reached agreement with event co-organiser TOM Group Ltd to handle all international PR for the tournament, to be staged in Beijing on September 11-24. It will be the third edition of the tournament – one of the newest on the ATP and WTA Tours – and TUF has been entrusted with PR duties each time. Under the terms of the agreement, TUF will issue international press releases in the build-up to the tournament and will send an editorial and production team to Beijing to handle PR on a day-to-day basis during the event. "We're very happy to be renewing our successful partnership with TOM Group," said TUF project director Simon Wait. "We have an excellent business relationship with TOM's corporate communications team, particularly after the pleasure of working on-site with them at last year’s event." The agreement adds to the growing list of major sporting events for which TUF is handling PR in 2006. The company is working on four high-profile golf tournaments – the Maybank Malaysian Open (February 16-19), the Enjoy Jakarta Indonesia Open (March 2-5), the Singapore Masters (March 9-12) and the TCL Classic in Hainan, China (March 16-19) – as well as the Hong Kong Tens rugby spectacular on March 29-30. In addition, TUF carries out PR duties on behalf of Hong Kong's official Le Mans motor racing team. The company is also producing the official souvenir programme and pocket guide for the 2006 Hong Kong Sevens rugby showpiece. FOR MORE INFORMATION CONTACT: info@tuf.com.hk |
