TENS TEAMS UP WITH TUF ONCE MORE Hong Kong, January 8, 2006 - Sports PR and publishing company Two Up Front has kicked off the New Year in winning fashion by finalising an agreement with organisers of the famous Hong Kong Tens rugby tournament. TUF will once again handle PR and produce the official souvenir programme for the hugely successful event, which acts as a curtain raiser to the Hong Kong Sevens. The tournament, to be held this year on March 29-30, features club and invitation teams from all over the world coming together for two days of top-class action at Hong Kong Football Club, one of Asia’s leading private sporting institutions. TUF looked after PR and produce the souvenir programme for the first time at the 2005 event and is delighted to continue its successful partnership with the Tens organising committee. “The event is widely regarded as the best tens tournament in the world so, naturally, it requires PR and a programme to match,” said Simon Wait, TUF’s production director. “We thoroughly enjoyed working with the organising committee last year and they had no hesitation in asking us back. “The tournament is growing all the time – standards are getting higher both on and off the pitch and we are conscious of the need to keep pace. We’re confidence of generating a lot of positive media coverage.” The agreement gives TUF a positive start to the year after an outstanding 2005 in which the company excelled on several fronts. In addition to last year’s Tens, TUF also handled PR on behalf of Hong Kong’s official Le Mans motor racing team, the China Open tennis tournament in Beijing, the UBS Hong Kong Open golf tournament and the Royal Trophy golf showpiece between Europe and Asia in Bangkok. The company also published official programmes for the 2005 Rugby World Cup Sevens and the UBS Hong Kong Open. FOR MORE INFORMATION CONTACT: info@tuf.com.hk |
