HONG KONG'S TOP SPORTS PUBLISHING COMPANY SCORES A DOUBLE Hong Kong, September 9, 2005 - Two Up Front is proving unbeatable at rugby, with the Hong Kong-based sports publication and PR company renewing two of its publishing agreements with the Hong Kong Rugby Football Union. TUF will continue to design and produce Rugby Talk, the HKRFU’s flagship publication, and will also publish the official souvenir programme and pocket guide for the 2006 Cathy Pacific/Credit Suisse Hong Kong Sevens, having performed a similar task at the 2005 Rugby World Cup Sevens in Hong Kong. TUF took over responsibility for publishing Rugby Talk almost two years ago, when it relaunched the new-look magazine to widespread acclaim. “It’s great news for Hong Kong rugby fans that we’re continuing to publish Rugby Talk,” said TUF production director Simon Wait. “We’re justifiably proud of the impact the magazine has made. For this season, we have made some subtle changes to the overall design and content, simply to bring it right up to date, without tampering with the winning formula that has made it such a hit with the public.” TUF’s visually striking programme and the innovative, fun-filled pocket guide that accompanied it were one of the success stories of the 2005 RWC Sevens, with the publication selling out for the first time in the event’s history. The company is planning to enhance the concept for the 2006 Sevens when the tournament will celebrate its 30th anniversary. “The response to the RWC Sevens programme and pocket guide was extremely positive and this was obviously a major factor in the HKRFU asking us back for next year,” added Wait. “The challenge is to retain the dual publication formula but still produce something fresh and innovative – and I have no doubts that our editorial and design teams are up to it.” TUF’s other rugby publications have included the 2004 Asian Rugby Championships souvenir programme and the 2005 Hong Kong Tens programme. In addition, the company handles publishing, public relations and event management in a variety of other sports, including golf, tennis and motor racing.
