TUF GETS GREEN LIGHT FOR LE MANS

Hong Kong, April 15, 2005 - Leading sports publishing and PR firm Two Up Front has shown a clean pair of wheels to its rivals by securing the contract to handle media relations on behalf of Hong Kong’s first ever Le Mans 24 Hours team.

Hong Kong-based Two Up Front beat off intense competition to reach an agreement with history-making Noble Group-GruppeM Racing.

“We are delighted to be part of this pioneering project,” said Two Up Front’s editorial director, Niall Donnelly. “This will be the first time a car owned and sponsored by Hong Kong companies and piloted by Hong Kong drivers has campaigned to take part in the world’s most prestigious endurance race.

“This campaign will propel Noble Group-GruppeM Racing – and Hong Kong motor racing – into the global spotlight and we are confident we will capitalise on this interest and gain maximum exposure for the team and its sponsors.”

Noble Group-GruppeM Racing driver Matthew Marsh, who is spearheading the project, said: “We are very happy to have the media professionals from Two Up Front involved in this historic campaign. When you compete in a world class sporting event like the Le Mans 24 Hours you need the best possible expertise and Two Up Front, with their track record in media relations, will provide this.”

Marsh’s team will take part in four races in Europe this year as part of the Le Mans Endurance Series followed by a trip to Florida next March for the 12 Hours of Sebring race. Good results will be enough to secure an invitation to the Le Mans 24 Hours in June 2006.

The team will be driving a Porsche GT3 RSR with a distinctive yellow, white and red livery that features a large Hong Kong bauhinia emblem on the roof. Marsh’s two co-drivers will be announced within the next few weeks.

The project has been made possible by backing from Hong Kong companies – Noble Group and the William E Connor Group – and the Chinese-owned GruppeM Racing team based in the UK.

The Le Mans project adds to Two Up Front’s impressive public relations portfolio which includes the China Open tennis tournament and the Omega Hong Kong Open golf tournament.

Two Up Front’s publishing ventures include the official souvenir programme and pocket guide for the Rugby World Cup Sevens 2005 and Rugby Talk (the official magazine of the Hong Kong Rugby Football Union).
