Hong Kong Rugby Football Union

Two Up Front plays a key role in the HKRFU’s biggest annual event, the world famous Hong Kong Sevens, by publishing the official souvenir programme and pocket guide. The dual publication has sold out every year since we began producing it in 2005. We also published the HKRFU’s official magazine, Rugby Talk, from 2003-08.

Parallel Media Group

Two of the biggest golf tournaments in Asia – the Hong Kong Open and the Ballantine’s Championship in Korea, both co-sanctioned by the European and Asian Tours – are promoted by Parallel Media Group, which retains Two Up Front to handle PR on a worldwide basis and run the on-site media centres at both events.

Hong Kong Football Club

One of the most prestigious sporting clubs in Asia, Hong Kong Football Club turns to Two Up Front to handle PR for the HKFC IP Global International Soccer Sevens, the world’s premier seven-a-side football tournament. The event attracts teams from the English and Scottish Premier Leagues plus mainland Europe, Asia and Australia.

IP Global

Property giant IP Global was launched in Hong Kong in 2005 and has since expanded to Singapore and Dubai. The company sponsors the HKFC International Soccer Sevens, the world’s premier seven-a-side football tournament for which Two Up Front handles worldwide PR and media management and publishes the souvenir programme.

Rwandan Rugby Federation

Rwanda’s pioneering national rugby team – the Silverbacks – made headlines around the world with their historic tour to Hong Kong in March 2010. The PR campaign surrounding their visit was organised by Two Up Front who, like many others involved in the project, gave their services free of charge.

Mirae Asset Securities (HK) Limited

The first Korean securities firm to venture into the global finance arena, Mirae Asset Securities (HK) turned to the media-savvy experts at Two Up Front for help in creating and implementing a newspaper advertising campaign designed to raise the company’s profile in Hong Kong and attract new customers.

Ecurie Drapeau Jaune

The motor racing brand established by Matthew Marsh, Hong Kong’s top racing driver: 2004 Porsche Carrera Cup Asia champion; the first Hong Kong driver to compete in the Le Mans 24 Hours; and the first to score a point in the World Touring Car Championship. We have been PR consultants to Matthew since 2004.

TOM Group

After starting with portal websites for China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, TOM Group expanded to include publishing, outdoor advertising and television. The company’s sports marketing division hired Two Up Front to handle worldwide PR for the China Open, the ATP and WTA-sanctioned tennis tournament it co-promoted from 2005-06.

Good Luck Beijing

The organisation set up to supervise Hong Kong’s hosting of the 2008 Beijing Olympic equestrian events enlisted Two Up Front to supply publications. We provided a dual-language event spectator guide and competitor guide for the 2007 dress rehearsal, the Good Luck Beijing HKSAR 10th Anniversary Cup, staged at the official Olympic venues.

GruppeM Racing

The UK motor racing team carries Porsche “factory supported” status and has a record of success in sportscar events throughout the UK, mainland Europe and Asia. The team, owned by Kenny Chen, a Chinese property developer based in the UK, supplied parts and personnel for Hong Kong’s historic Le Mans team in 2005-06.

The Royal Trophy

This Ryder Cup-style team golf contest between Europe and Asia is staged annually in Thailand and features many of the finest players from both continents. The tournament organisers recognised Two Up Front’s expertise in high-profile golf events and enlisted us to handle worldwide PR for the inaugural tournament in 2006.

Progressive Gaming International

This US-based company provided gaming systems and other technology to casinos at home and abroad. PGI’s marketing team in Macau turned to Two Up Front when they were seeking corporate entertainment options for senior executives and important clients at the world famous Hong Kong Sevens rugby tournament.

Noble Group

Asia’s largest diversified commodities trading company, Noble manages the global supply chain of agricultural, industrial and energy products. The group’s network encompasses more than 100 offices in over 40 countries across five continents. Noble was the co-title sponsor of the Hong Kong Le Mans motor racing team in 2005-06.

Media Serv Asia Pacific Limited

One of Asia’s most high profile sports promoters, Media Serv previously organised two ATP tennis tournaments – the Hong Kong Open and the Thailand Open – and the Martell Skins Golf Classic in Taiwan. The company enlisted Two Up Front to look after worldwide PR on behalf of the inaugural China Open tennis tournament in 2004.

Maybank Malaysian Open

Looking for a PR company to help bring the historic Malaysian Open to a wider audience, tournament organisers turned to the experts at Two Up Front. We implemented a wide-ranging and innovative PR campaign for the 2006 event, which featured players such as Ryder Cup stars Padraig Harrington and Miguel Angel Jiménez.

Chevalier ATP Champions Tour

Tennis greats such as former Wimbledon champions Goran Ivanisevic and Pat Cash and ex-French Open winner Thomas Muster featured in this masters tournament at Hong Kong’s Victoria Park in 2005. Two Up Front was hired to publish the official souvenir programme, which proved popular with the many fans who attended.

GFI HKFC Tens

Two Up Front handled worldwide PR and produced the souvenir programme for this popular rugby tournament at the Hong Kong Football Club from 2005-09. The event attracted stars such as New Zealand icon Jonah Lomu and Rugby World Cup winners Joe Roff and Toutai Kefu (both Australia) and Bobby Skinstad (South Africa).

ANZ Bank

One of the top four banks in Australia and the largest listed company in New Zealand, ANZ was a natural main sponsor of the historic Bledisloe Cup rugby test between the All Blacks and Wallabies played in Hong Kong on 1 November 2008, for which Two Up Front published the official souvenir programme.

China Open

This ATP and WTA-sanctioned tennis tournament in Beijing was first held in 2004 and organisers enlisted Two Up Front to handle worldwide PR for the first three years. Stars appearing included Rafael Nadal, Marat Safin, Juan Carlos Ferrero, Carlos Moya, Maria Sharapova and the Williams sisters, Venus and Serena.

Hong Kong Cricket Sixes

Stars such as Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Matthew Hoggard and Justin Langer appeared in this two-day showpiece in 2008, when Two Up Front handled worldwide PR and ran the on-site media centre. Our expert input helped generate almost 1,000 press clippings and attracted an unprecedented 84 media personnel to the tournament.
